Happy Earth Lawn and Garden is an independent distributor of The Happy Gardener line of products.  The Happy Gardener Inc., is a direct sales company, based in Ashland, Virginia. The company was founded in 2003 by Annette Pelliccio, a third generation garden business owner. Her idea was to create a company that can benefit gardeners around the country. What started as a small, home-based business today has evolved into an international community promoting healthy, eco-friendly gardening and lawn care habits. The direct sales model was chosen by Annette because it enabled The Happy Gardener through its wide network of Independent Garden Consultants to not only offer top quality products, but to also educate families and communities around to country how to implement, maintain, and enjoy the benefits of organic, eco-friendly gardening and lawn care.

The fact that The Happy Gardener is a direct sales company means that its products cannot be found in any store or directly purchased from the company. The products of The Happy Gardener are promoted and distributed around the country by a wide network of highly trained Independent Garden Consultants who are offering the products through home demonstrations, community events, fundraisers, and the internet

Rashko Dorosiev, an Independent Garden Consultant with The Happy Gardener and creator of Happy Earth Lawn and Garden first came across The Happy Gardener line of products and business opportunity in the beginning of December 2009 while searching online for “how to” information about organic gardening and lawn care to implement at his own home.   What he liked about The Happy Gardener was that it not only provided great supplies, but also provided information making it an easy way to understand and implement organic gardening.  The Happy Gardener can help you implement organic gardening techniques whether you want a full organic garden and lawn on your property, nice plants to purify your indoor air, or just a few container crops for your windowsill or patio.  The business opportunity just seemed to “make sense” for him as a way to help others learn about and implement eco-friendly living techniques that can be used anywhere not to mention a chance to earn a living promoting something that he loves. To Rashko it wasn’t just a business opportunity but the chance to carry out a healthy and positive message to benefit families and communities.

As a result, Rashko created HappyEarthLawnandGarden.com, a website and blog with the main purpose to educate the public on the benefits and ease of using organic fertilizers and other natural, earth-friendly products for lawn care and both indoor and outdoor gardening. Through HappyEarthLawnandGarden.com, members of the community can find answers to wide range of topics on organic lawn and garden care, as well as the complete line of the products offered by The Happy Gardener.

It is Rashko’s belief that educating the members of the community on environmentally friendly habits is just as important as the products themselves.

Serving Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania in person,  the entire United States and internationally via the internet, Rashko’s pledge is to carry on the positive message of The Happy Gardener while following the Mission, Vision, and Values of Happy Earth Lawn and Garden.
