Plant a Row for the Hungry

The Happy Gardener, Inc. is a proud Bronze Sponsor of Plant a Row for the Hungry. Independent Garden Consultants provide customers, friends, family, and organizations with information and supplies to participate in this charitable project. Members of the community plant an extra row of vegetables in their garden and donate the harvest to their local food bank. Garden Consultants receive promotional products such as organic seed packets, garden markers and program information to be used for awareness and participation. THG is proud to announce that 96% of its active independent consultants volunteer for and/or have created official PAR campaigns in their communities. Independent Consultants efforts have helped food banks, community kitchens and food service organizations collect thousands of pounds of fresh produce throughout the country.
