What’s in Happy Naturals™ that makes it so beneficial?

  • Sea Vegetables: OMRI* listed, sea vegetables increase crop yield, improve seed germination, reduce fungal, insect, and nematode damage. They are rich in minerals and trace elements. Sea Vegetables used in the production of Happy Naturals™ are OCIA** certified harvested off the coast of Maine.
  • Corn Gluten Meal: a powdery byproduct of the corn milling process, this non-toxic, OMRI* listed nitrogen source is an effective alternative to traditional, chemical-based lawn treatment products. With an NPK ratio of 9-1-0, it is a natural pre-emergent herbicide that inhibits seed germination by drying out the seed as it begins to open to sprout.
  • Cotton Seed Meal: OMRI* listed, slow release nitrogen, phosphate and potash that will not raise soil pH. Great for acid loving plants.
  • Feather Meal: OMRI* listed, organic nitrogen made from hydrolyzed, ground feathers. Slow release and will not burn seeds and foliage.
  • Greensand: OMRI* listed, potash base exchange mineral mined from marine deposit. Contains 22 other minerals, and helps loosen compact soils.
  • Humus: derived from Leonardite, it enhances nutrient uptake of major nutrients (NPK) and trace elements such as iron, zinc, and manganese. Humus increases seed germination, cell division and root development. It also improves structure, aeration, drainage and water holding capacities in soil. Has no effect on soil pH.
  • Rock Phosphate: OMRI* listed natural colloidal phosphate that supplies phosphorus for cell division and enlargement, photosynthesis, and respiration. It encourages the growth of earthworms and soil bacteria that enrich and aerate the soil. Slow release so it will not leach away like chemically treated phosphates.
  • Sulphate of Potash: A mined, all natural source of potash without chlorine.
  • Worm Castings: OMRI* listed, complete fertilizer produced naturally by earthworms. Extremely fertile topsoil properly conditioned for root growth and optimum plant nutrition. Castings allow plants to easily absorb all essential nutrients and trace elements. They contain over 60 micronutrients and trace minerals and a high number of beneficial microbes and bacteria. Worm Castings repel whiteflies, aphids, spider mites and other pests that feed on plant juices by increasing the plant production of insect offensive enzymes. For use with all plants and gentle so no fear of burning. Castings used in THG products do not contain earthworms or eggs and are odor-less.
